Get To Know Our World Class Instructors
Mr Wendell is the chief instructor with over 34 years of Marietta martial arts taekwondo experience and 32 years in teaching karate. He graduated from University of Texas in Austin with a Masters in Professional Accounting. Master Wendell is a member of Independent Taekwondo Association and the International Combat Hapkido Federation.
As a former tournament competitor and a certified Master Instructor, his teaching style encompasses a sport element while applying it to practical self-defense techniques. He has a 6th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and 2nd degree black belt in Combat Hapkido. He is also ranked in Jeet Kune Do, Kali and has trained in Brazilian Jujitsu. He is also a certified instructor in Combat Hapkido and a certified International Police Defense Tactics Instructor.
Master Cho is the creator of Ho Shin Do (a self-defense system). He is currently ranked as a 7th degree black belt in Ho Shin Do, 5th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, 2nd degree black belt in Gracie Jiujitsu, and 4th degree in Choi Kwon Do. He has 40 years of martial art experience, and has been serving the East Cobb area for over 34 years.
Mr. FJ Moore is a graduate from Wheeler High School and will soon go to Kennesaw State University to major in both child development and Business Administration. He began his martial art training in 2004. In 2005, Mr. Moore began assisting the chief instructor with classes. By late 2009, he had developed his teaching and leadership abilities to become the floor leader, where he manages classes and 6-8 assistant instructors. FJ loves to work with the children, and he is a kid at heart. He loves to instill good morals and values through fun and excitement.
Mr. Wendell began his martial journey at the age 3.5. Throughout the years of hard work and perseverance, he earned his 4th Dan. He pursues to develop his training in Taekwondo, Jiu Jitsu, Kali, and Balintawak. Not only does he love teaching students on the floor of all age groups he helps develop other instructors and Leadership skills to the rising young black belts. His passion is martial arts, learning, teaching, and connecting with families. He says the best thing about his job is being able to develop a relationship with the parents to trust that we can help create positive impact on their child’s life.
Mr Bradley has been training in martial arts for 10 1/2 years. His martial arts journey started at 17 being enrolled into classes to work on his “Don’t Care” attitude. After 4 1/2 years, he earned his 1st degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, and since then he has trained in a variety of styles such as Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Hapkido, and Balintawak. In his time away from martial arts, he is learning to play the ukulele and mandolin, and is a pet parent of two cats.
Ms. Williams is a 3rd Dan Taekwondo instructor who has been training in martial arts since 2005. In 2009, she received her black belt and, shortly thereafter, began helping teach classes. She has been teaching Taekwondo since 2015. She spends her free time training and competing in Jiu Jitsu, working on a Masters degree in Marketing & Public Relations, and hanging out with her dog K.O.
Karen brings to MMA 25+ years of Retail Management experience. Even though you don’t see Karen on the floor teaching, she is diligently working behind the scenes to keep MMA running smoothly as our Operations Director. When she’s not working you can probably find her kayaking down the river or hanging out with her dog Sterling.
